BANDUNG SPOT!!! If 1+1=2, so single+single=...

Hello guyss, want to get Wi-Fi? Want to just sitting around waiting the rain to stop? Want to see people playing skateboard while eating some foods? And the most important point, are you SINGLE HAHA? Okay, I know the right place for you! It may be shined with dim sunlight, but whatever happens, If Allah wanted, you wouldn't be wet here. What kind of place is this? Let's check out!

Tada~ "Taman Jomblo" or "Park of Singles". The park that is located in Jl. Taman Sari no. 66 (according to Google Map), Coblong, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia was created by Bandung's Mayor, Ridwan Kamil. It is nominated as one of the fun place to hang out according www.yukpiknik.com. It's quite easy to find because it's near with Balubur Town Square (Baltos). The alternative name for this park is "Taman Pasupati" because it was built under the Pasupati Flyover.

Taman Pasupati or Taman Jomblo
It's located near baltos
With its small size around 25x30 m2, this place is filled with big and small cubes that are meaned to be used as seats. People said the design of a cube that just fits for one man is because it's for 'those who haven't got a partner', so just for "1"! hehehe. But when you look around, even if this holy place was meaned for bachelors, there are still couples here. Maybe they just want to make us envy... eh no... they just want to enjoy the day together:))) Oh yeah, the colourful atmosphere makes this place more beautiful.  And if you see arround, the walls where full with paintings. There where people drawing famous figures like Soekarno, Munir, etc.; some people made drawings of their ex or girlfriend. And what makes it even more fascinating, there's good Wi-Fi signal.
WiFi yeahh

I and Soekarno

Before I continue my explanation, I went to this place with my friend, Fitria. We went there together at May 1st 2015. One day before that, she slept in my house because it was already late. And besides we have some homeworks, where she was in the same group with me. We finished our tasks at noon, so we arrived at Taman Jomblo around 4 o'clock. I though it would take more time to get there because it was Mayday, but alhamdulillah we just need 30 minutes. It wasn't my first time there but I haven't go through the park.

1+1=2
Single + single = double (?)

Because our curiousity, and actually we didn't know that taman Jomblo was just 25x30m2 big, so we walk a little bit further. We found out that there was a Skateboard Park too. the Skateboard Park was surrounded by small food stalls under the Flyover. Some kids where playing there. In addition, there is a football field too.
Skateboard park
Football field

Then, there was the 'Taman Film' or 'Film Park'. Incidental, there was an event at that day, so we couldn't take many photos. we didn't know about what it is, Mayday or 'Konverensi Asia Afrika'. But what we saw was people watching something hehehe.

Our little trip was ended by the last spot, Cikapundung RiverIt was nice to see the legendary river, but suddenly an unpleasant smell annoys us. The smell that make Cikapundung River so famous. I think the bad smell appears because it isn't maintened and full of garbage. Not just we students have homeworks, but the government too.
I hope the next visit would be better:))

We took photos, commented on couples. Then, we must go home because it was that late. It was really fun, because I wasn't that 'Single' because i went there with my friend wkwkwk. So, after reading this, are you interested to be Single... eh... visit 'Taman Jomblo'? hehehe

Image taken from Fitria heheheh

Even the wagoon is labile hehe

See you next time:))

Harmony of Angklung for The World

The Logo of KAA
Hey there! Do you know what happened lately here in Bandung? Actually 60 years ago at 24 April was held an important conference in Indonesia, where the participants where two major continent, Asia and Africa. Because of that, this conference was named Konferensi Asia Africa or Asia Africa Conference. And now, in 19-24 April 2015 in commemoration of that day, Bandung was filled by people all from Asia, Africa, and also some other countries. Bandung was chosen as a place to hold the Asia Africa Carnival centered in Merdeka Street. What I want to tell you is about one of my participation in KAA, as Angklung player.

Thursday, April 23th 2015 at 9.00am I and my friends from X IPA 2 and 1 went to Siliwangi Stadium to join the record breaking of 20.000 people playing Angklung together, Harmony of Angklung for The World. Our school sent around 60 students there. So we went from school at 6.30, even if Siliwangi Stadium is relatively near from our School, SMAN 3 Bandung because we where scared about those mass that wanted to participate too.

'Harmony of Angklung for the World's stage
Alhamdulillah, we got a box of food, an Angklung (a tradisional music instrument made from bamboo), and a T-shirt for free. We were hired to put on the shirt we got. While waiting the other participants, umbrellas filled the Stadium field because the sun shined so bright. After that, we practiced a little bit how to play Angklung because of course there was people who never played Angklung before. Ibu Pertiwi and Padamu Negri where our practice song before we played the real song to show to the Guiness World of Records juries.

I got a la (or Maluku) Angklung that usually plays much. I like to play Angklung since Elementary school, so i enjoyed it much. Before the scoring, Ridwan Kamil gave a little speech about how proud we should be to be a part of an event that is just held every ten years, even more, we are a part of a record-breaking too!
Ridwan Kamil, Bandung's Mayor
The tone of Angklung playing We Are the World was played. We were being conducted by a Saung Udjo conductor, Daeng Udjo. That song was chosen to deliver a message of peace to the world from Bandung, West Java.

Alhamdulillah, We made it to break the MURI record. Back then, an event like this was held too in Jakarta with 11.000 people playing Angklung. But we must wait a little bit for the result of Guiness World of Records.

I think it was all I can tell you about this event. Thanks for reading!

"Seasons Die One After Another" A Song to Cry

Did you ever feel so sad and just want to give up on everything? I felt it some weeks ago, I don't know why but everythigs just don't fit. I cried by myself for hours. But after hearing this song (And remembering Allah too of course hehe), myself becomes more calm. It was raining back then, but I was just happy.

Curious about what kind of song it is? Let's check!

"Seasons Die One After Another" (Kisetsu Wa Tsugutsugi Shindeiku)

Amazarashi

ENG Cover by Veia Tolentino

One by one, the seasons die, it's time to leave you,
If you cry into the wind, will I still hear you?
Looking up to the moon, I realize I got to,
Find a way to get the answers that are untold.

Every day I'm tripping in this mud I call life,
It feels as if the rain that pours pierces like a knife,
It seems that my eyes turn grey, as I look through the city,
And everybody's face looks as suspicious as mine.

Why Can't I accept the fact that this is truly me,
The shadow that has come to life is half of what it used to be,
If I sing in the rain, do you think the clouds will part?
But my life is now all dried up, thanks to the summer with you!

Dear my lonely past, I sing to you,
A final goodbye!
I have to cast away, the remains of these days,
It can't get any more worse than this, those nightmares I won't miss.

So in the next life, flowers will bloom,
The words back to you,
A song filled with so much pain, that I feel to this day,
But never to die out, truly, I will stay by your side.

What is this song telling about?

Do you like watching Anime? Many people doesn't like Anime(There are even people who doesn't know Anime T_T, please search the definition in Google). But this time, pleasseeee read this, I don't command you to like Anime, just hear the OST of this anime, OK? hehehe
Kaneki Ken

A little bit Synopsis: The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious "ghouls" who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery. An ordinary college student named Kaneki that because one reason turn into a ghoul. So in other words, He's human but a monster too (?)

The song itself tells us Kaneki's feeling, the loneliness he felt because he can't live normally again with his bestfriend, the bellyful feel eating fresh human flesh because the daily human foods aren't tasty anymore, etc. But in the same time he felt the feeling of those ghouls, they aren't wrong being borned as ghoul, they just want to feel to be an ordinary human...

Hmm, and what relates the Anime and the Song?

It's very clearly explained in the lyrics, but i'll explain it a little bit based on my own thoughs hehe.

"...Why Can't I accept the fact that this is truly me,

The shadow that has come to life is half of what it used to be..."

Just imagine yourself being in the middle of two groups that are hostile? And actually, the reason why Kaneki became a ghoul is because of an 'experiment' that bind his soul with a ghoul named Rize. So,the shadow means Rize likelihood.

Rize Kamishiro is the reason
that kaneki turned into a  ghoul

And my favorite part:
"...Dear my lonely past, I sing to you,
A final goodbye!
I have to cast away, the remains of these days,
It can't get any more worse than this, those nightmares I won't miss.

So in the next life, flowers will bloom,
The words back to you,
A song filled with so much pain, that I feel to this day,
But never to die out, truly, I will stay by your side."

Here, Kaneki's feeling were drawn perfectly. It's just that he wanted to scream 'Why me?!" So epic...

What part do I like most?

"...Dear my lonely past, I sing to you, A final goodbye!..."

The peak of the song. This part is just beautiful(:

A little bit comment

The real version of this song is actually japanese hehe, so I just hear the melody at the beginning because I don't really understand japanese...(((: The rhythm were beautiful and just cheerfull some way... When I see the meanings, I just fell love with this.

I really like this song. If you search for a similar type of this, I recommend you to hear "Unravel". (And watch the Anime ofcourse wkwwk)

The Videography?

Oh yeah, I warn you before you see the official video clip from this song...

At the beginning, there was a woman that was drawn as Rize the ghoul, eating raw flesh (it was meaned to be human flesh, I think...). Then, Rize go mad eating the flesh getting towards the end.It' OK to watch this, but truely i feltsick when I watch the video clip three times hehe. So, think twice:) but FYI, I prefer the real version then the english one.

Ridwan Kamaludin, Just an ordinary hafidz?

My mother and I (right) interviewing Ridwan Kamaludin Al-Hafidz
Name                    : Ridwan Kamaludin Al-Hafidz
DOB                     : Garut, January 26th 1996
Gender                 : Male
Religion                : Islam
Height                   : 165cm
Employment         : College student
Hobby                  : Reading Al-Quran, playing football, singing
Address                : Kudungora, Garut

Educational background:
- Madrasah Ibtidaiyah cokro Aminoto
- Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Muta’alimin
- SMKIT Darul Abror
- Universitas Padjadjaran FIB literature majors

Ridwan Kamaluddin, is my mother's colledge student in Padjadjaran University that is familiar called Urid. He is in fact a football fan that admire Ronaldo. In his Junoir High he wanted to make a band. But it changed 180 degree in Senior High School. He was borned in Garut, January 26th 1996 as the third child of four children, but unfortunately all his big brothers died when they was young, and this made him to be his parent's 'favorite boy'. I think because of that too, he then became a Hafidz, or in other words 'someone who has memorized 30 juz from Al Quran', because who can memorize 30 juz can insyaa Allah give their parents a crown in paradise, in the afterlife.
Ridwan (left) with his colledge friend
But yeah, there are many hafidz in this world, but there is something that make this Arabic colledge student more special than others: He saw Rasulullah ï·º in his dreams!! Masya Allah:')

So, once upon a time, when Ridwan was still a senoirhigh scool student in SMKIT Daarul Abror, he contracted Thypus wich made him less energic and unwell. Because of that, he stopped to memorize the Quran, even if there were just 5 juz remaining. One day, he felt so very unhealthy that he thought it was his last day living in this world. When he fell asleep, he dreamt about a war, where he was a soldier. Among the troops, there was a handsome man that he never saw before. The man looked very manly and perfect on his horse. Then, a troop called that man "Ya Rasulullah ï·º" Ridwan that heared that wanted to call Rasulullah ï·º, but he can't speak all of sudden. "Ya Ridwan" A voice from the man infront Ridwan resusticate him "Irji' ilaa baitika wastamir hifzak" Go back home and continue your memorizing. After that, he tried to memorize again. When he finished his last ayat, he then recover from his illness. He wasn't the first hafidz in his school, he was the fifth actually.

Just by dreaming Rasulullah ï·º is a guarantee someone can enter the paradise insya Allah. But Ridwan wanted to do more kindness especially for the people around him. His dreams are to be an Ulama or a theologian and he wanted to pilgrimage all the resident in his village, a unique goal, hah? hehe. Oh yeah, he wanted to take a schoolarship to middle east too, pray for him, okay?:)

What made me shame of myself is the only regret he got is that he didn't memorize from the beginning. He memorized 30 juz just in 3 years. All humans got 24 hours in a day right? Why can't we do the same thing like he did? He said to me that the key to fast memorizing is Ikhlas (motive just for Allah) and not to be lazy (And I am very lazy guyss). 'Fastabiqul Khairat' or 'competing each other in goodness'. Pray for me that I'll finished 30 juz when I graduate Senior High School:) Aamiin:'))

5+1 Slogans that shake the world

Do you know Rabi'a? Do you know Mohammed Morsi? But at least you must know egypt right?

In 2012, a new president was being chosen in the presidentical election in Egypt. It was the first time that Egypt held a election by democracy. Mohammed Morsi won with one percent more than his rival, shafik. 13,230,131 votes were obtained from Morsi's simple speech before the election. He shouted 5 slogan from Ikhwanul Muslimin, a politicalparty that has broght Morsi:

"Allahu GhayatunaaAr-Rasul QudwatunaaAl-Quran DusturunaaAl-Jihadus SabilunaaAl-Mautu Fiisabiilillah Asma Amaninah"
"Allah is our purposeour Prophet ï·º is our ExampleAl-Quran is our constitutionJihad is our pathPassing away in Allah's path is our highest ideal."
Mohammad Morsi, the truly President of Egypt
His slogan

Simple, but very inspirational.

But not long after that, Morsi is being coup by As-sisi, a commander in the army.

To support Morsi, Egyptian from across the county gathered in a place called Rabiah. They shouted the slogan with spirit, hoping the world will hear them. At that time, there were a clash between the army and Morsi's supporter. Many people died in this incident.

But, not only those in Egypt supported Morsi, all moslems in the world yelled out a slogan too:

"Kullunaa rabiah"
"All of us are Rabiah"

Rabiah besides the name of the place where it all happens has a meaning too: Rabia'ah in arabic means 4, and Rabia Al-Adawiyah is a women among the obedient servants to Allah.
She was named Rabi"ah because she was the fourth daughter.

So that's what I can tell you about 5+1 slogan that shake the world. Thank you for reading:))

"Kullunaa Rabi'ah"

"DEWA ATHENA VII"

February 21st 2015, the students of SMAN 3 Bandung, Indonesia organize an yearly event called "DEWA ATHENA". It's been held for seven times. Dewa Athena is an event that contains sport contest, like basketball, football, tug of war, relay, etc. We must participate in this event, because it will be entered in our sport score.
Sepadu Sepadan- Our Class and Family:)
At 06.15 WIB, we were gathered in Lapangan Bali were we usually do sport activities with white clothes as dress code. After that, we did the colour run: started from Lapangan Bali, Belitung Street, Sumatera Street, Aceh Street, Saparua, Ambon Street, Banda Street, Belitung Street, and finally back to Bali Street. Because I am a PMR member, I was assigned to watch in Banda Street as medical section, in case someone were hurt or fallen. Because of that too, I didn’t participate when my other friends were running, taking photos. And the saddest part is that I didn’t feel how to be stoned by colour bags until our white clothes been coloured with colours :( But in the same time, medical sections are needed in every event. (And besides my cloth wasn’t dirty at least haha). Alhamdulillah, nobody were hurt.
The colour run route
(the pict was taken from dara hehe:)v )

Charisma, Vialita, and Rimba holding X IPA 2 Sign

After all the PMR members gathered in the school for the briefing from kang Sami, I went to Lapangan Bali with my friends. At the way, I met kang Sami and some other people swarmed someone. When I came near, there was someone fainted. Because she was a girl, kang Sami said that I should bring her to the school. So I with the girls around there took her to the PMR room in theschool. It was quite far, and when we arrived we were really exhausted. Luckily, there was teh Alifia, the PMR leader, so she checked up the victim. It turns out that the fainted one didn’t eat breakfast at the morning before the colour run, and she had anemia too. We gave here a sweet hot tea and tell her to take rest for a while.

Times still running, and I realized that I participate in the football tournament. I ran to the Lapangan Bali, and when I arrived it hasn’t start. But because I’m still exhausted by running, Tanisha replaced me playing football for the first round. I played in the second round. But unfortunately, we didn’t win. Our dodgeball team didn’t win too. But at least, tahnks to Ghina and Halim, we won the Badminton tournament.

It was really fun. This was just the first day of the full Dewa Athena event. (Dewa Athena is held every week until it’s finished).
When they took this, I had a brievfing in the school:(

Cat's Eye Nebula

Is there any relation between a rose, a star, and our holy Quran? Maybe you will answer “All of them are beautiful”. It isn’t wrong, but is there something else that can bond them together?

The answer is ‘A phenomenon that involves rose formed stars that is written in Al-Quran’. ”Hah?”. Still don’t understand? If not you can see in Q.S. Ar-Rahman 37:

“And when the sky splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide”

“When the sky splitteth asunder” it means Qiyamah or the Doomsday and “becometh rosy like red hide” means a scheme of colors (not just red) when the Doomsday comes with it’s asperity.

At September 18th 1994, the NASA took a photo from a nebula succesfully with the telescope Hubble. It is predicted to be a 1.000 years old star that died (Supernova). It was later presented in the American Astronomical Society in Tucson Arizona at January 11th 1995.
(For more information, you can access http//www.hubblesite.org  or http//www.stsci.edu)

A confession from NASA said that if a star explosed, then it would make a form like a red rose. Even more, some people named this phenomenon as Oily Red Rose Nebula. A dying star can also be called Supernova.

Now, after some researches, scientist took some photos of dying stars again and found that the colors are green. Because of it’s lightening green color, scientist named it ‘Cat’s Eye Nebula’. And now you are asking, why did Allah explained a supernova with a red color? The answer is simple: the green color that you see in the photos is actually not the real color. The hubble telescope is been programed to color the picture based on what it comprehend, as example blue color stands for oxygen, etc.. A NASA scientist said:

"The colors in Hubble images, which are assigned for various reasons, aren't always what we'd see if we were able to visit the imaged objects in a spacecraft. We often use color as a tool, whether it is to enhance an object's detail or to visualize what ordinarily could never be seen by the human eye."

‘Cat’s Eye Nebula’, How does it happen?

Because ‘Cat’s Eye Nebula’ is a little bit hard to write, i’ll write it down as Supernova (hehe sorry...). A supernova is a event that bigger that signify the death of a star and is bigger than a Nova. A dead star before it dies  glows million times brighter than usually it does. After some weeks or months, the died star will release a big amount of energy with a velocity of 30.000km/s that will cause a big explotion. The explotion is caused when the solar core stop or activate the production of energy through nuclear fusion. Once the stellar core is old stopped producing energy, then the star will undergo gravitational collapse and suddenly become a black hole or neutron star, and releasing gravitational potential energy that heats and destroys the outer layers of the star. A Supernova happens every one second in this universe.

And now the final question: What will happen if a star near earth exploads? Yeah, it’s just a matter of time that the Doomsday will come. So, maybe it’s time for us to think more about the afterlife. Wallahu A’lam bisshawab.

To close this article, let’s see the continuation of the verse above:

“So, which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”

I think it’s enough from me. I am so sorry if there are many mistakes in this article. Thanks for reading ^_^... Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi Wabarokatuh.

Mochi~, a Japanese Culinary

Mochi
Hi friends=)) Did you read my last post about holiday? So, about two weeks ago, at the January the first, almost all people around the world are celebrating the transition from 2014 to 2015. Because of that day too, we were given holiday hehe... but now I'm gonna write just about new year in Japan. Beside all that fireworks, etc. there is a unique tradition too in Japan: eating mochi.

According to wikipedia, Mochi is Japanese rice cake made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice. About the history, some people say it comes from Tiongkok, but other says that mochi comes from japan. But it is a fact that mochi exist in japan since Heian periode (794-1885C) as a meal for the nobles at new year. Varied mochies were used as offerings for the caisars at religious ceremonies in the beginning of the 10th century. Based on historical records from 1070C, rice cakes were called "Mochii" with dobble i and new in the 18 century Mochi were written with just one i. The name "Mochi" itself comes from the word "motsu" that means 'hold something'. It means that mochi is given from the gods (in their opinion). Beside that, mochi is been related to the word 'mochizuki' (full moon) and 'muchimi' (sticky).
Mochi in an Japanese animation

Back there, before the samurais want to fight at a war to spirit them up people made them mochies. Because of it's size, mochi is easy to bring. And mochies gives stamina to the body too. But because nowadays samurai doesn't exist, Japanese men immortalize it to a tradition, mochitsuki, held every desember-january or at new year.
A little kid eating mochi

Presently, there are many kinds of mochies. From ice cream mochi until mochi soup with various flavor, like chocolate, green tea, strawberry, etc. Oh yeah, did you hear about 'Mochi Sukabumi'? People say that mochi came to Inonesia at the second world war by japanese armies. Mochi is known well-born in Sukabumi because the main military headquarters of japan was in Sukabumi. But like I said before, according to the other opinion, mochi came Indonesia from generation to generation by tionghoa people that settle mainly in Sukabumi. Wallahu A'lam hehe
Mochi Ice Cream

Mochi as soup

And now, the Mochi recept:) (notes: it's not the traditional way, it's from http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Mochi)

Ingredients:

1 lb Mochiko (glutinous rice flour, sometimes called sweet rice flour)
3 cups sugar
1 can coconut milk
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (preferred for thicker sweeter mochi)
1 1/2 cups of water
A few drops of food colouring (preferably red)
Katakuriko (potato starch) (cornstarch is also a substitute or variation)
Steps to make

1. Assemble the ingredients and items needed to prepare the mochi.
2. Sift the Mochiko into a large bowl.
3. Add the cups of white sugar.
4. Add the unsweetened coconut milk. Do not stir.
5. Add the cups of plain water and a few drops of food colouring. Mix with a balloon whisk until the mixture is lump free.
6. Preheat the oven to 450f .
7. Line the cake pans with aluminum foil (bottom and sides), grease the foil with oil or spray.
8. Divide the batter into the three cake pans. Cover the batter with more greased foil so that the foil is touching the batter.
9. Bake for 1 hour on the middle shelf of your oven.
10. Let cool for another hour, then take off the top foil from one of the pans.
11. Dust a work surface with katakuriko (potato starch) and invert the mochi onto the surface. Very slowly and carefully peel off the other layer of foil, and be careful because it will try to stick.
12. Cut off the crusts around the edge of the mochi. As the cook's prerogative, you can snack on these while you prepare the final product.
13. Cut the mochi into triangles or squares.
14. Dust each mochi triangle or square on the bottom, top and sides with katakuriko. Do this until all of the mochi are dusted.
Sweet versions: Mochi can be gently rolled in desiccated coconut, dusted in cocoa powder or dusted with Matcha powder for eating as a sweet.
15. Serve. You should now have the yummiest thing you have ever tasted in your life.
Mochi can be served in soup. In Japan, mochi is served in a hot soup called ozonifor the New Year breakfast.
Mochi is great served with a little soy sauce and wasabi.
If serving as a sweet, be sure to have it with some Japanese green tea.

That's it ^-^. For traditional steps, you can see this (I copy pasted it from
http://simplymochi.com/2009/07/20/traditional-way-of-mochi-making-and-the-various-usages-for-it/):

First Step:  Soak polished rice overnight and then cook the rice until it is soft in texture.
Second Step:  The cooked rice is now pounded with a huge, heavy, wooden mallet (kine) in a traditional wooden mortar (usu).   Mochi rice is very sticky and gets hard fast so it needs to be consistently wetted, pounded, and turned.  Because this requires a lot of physical power it is best to have two people taking turns pounding the mochi rice with the heavy mallets.  If you are ever in Japan, give it a try!  Not only is it great exercise, but you can say that you were part of a very old japanese tradition.
Third Step:  After the rice has been pounded into a paste, it becomes a sticky mass which is now ready to be molded into various shapes for many uses.

And before I end my long story, you must be very careful when eating this one. This year, 18 people in Japan were been hospitalized and 9 died. So, don't be in hurry when eating mochi and don't take too much at once. For more info, you can read here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/indonesia/majalah/2015/01/150105_majalahlain_kuemochi_jepang
